I consider myself a laid-back photographer. I love to be a little silly with the kids and have fun during a session. The time spent with my clients needs to be positive and not forced, rushed or uncomfortable. I encourage kids and adults to feel at ease and to be themselves. I can assure you that this is when the genuine smiles and interaction that I love to capture come in. I love to let the kids be kids. Sometimes, they need an extra minute to get the sillies out or to warm up to me and my camera and that's ok! I'm also a big lover of candid photos. I'm Carissa, a passionate Morris County photographer, and I'm a busy mom of 3 kids and one four-legged kid, our French Bulldog, Bear. In my free time when I'm not taking a photo of a beautiful family or a beautiful sunset, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, boyfriend and having an occasional girls' night! There's a good chance you can find me at a Mexican Restaurant for dinner because tacos make me happy. I love summer! The Jersey Shore has my heart, in particular, Wildwood Crest. My family has vacationed there every summer since I was a baby, and the tradition of making memories continues with my own children every year. I also LOVE fall, mums and pumpkin spice coffee. It's all the little things that make me happy!
